George "Road Runner", age 60, of Verona passed away Sunday evening, April 15, 2018, at his residence with his wife and friends by his side. Beloved husband of Mary Lynn (Camerota) Ketterer of 28 years; son of the late George W. Ketterer and Edith (Giampolo) Ketterer; brother-in-law of Mark Camerota, Sr.; uncle of Mark Camerota, Jr., Sonnilynn and Alyssa Camerota; godfather of Lauren, Breanna, Ashley and Brady Dukehart. Surviving are his beloved felines, Kalli, Kassie, and Kaylee. George enjoyed running, loved going on short or long runs with friends. He ran over 30 marathons and several 5k, 10k, and 1/2 Marathons. He was proud to run the Boston marathon two times in his life. George was employed with Giant Eagle for over 42 years. Friends and relatives will be received at BURKET - TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont Wednesday from 1-9 p.m. Services private for the family.
