Jean M. Clark, 95, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018 at LGAR. She was the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Esther (Duncan) Littell. She was born in Pittsburgh. As a young child her family moved to Oil City, PA. The family returned to Pittsburgh when she was a teenager. She married her beloved husband, James W. Clark August 7, 1943 in East Pittsburgh. They had two daughters and lived in Penn Hills. They were married for 33 years before Jim died. She worked as a waitress at Alcoma, and Edgewood County Clubs, and The Holiday House. Growing up she wanted to become a nurse. At the age of 50 she went to Connelley and graduated as an LPN. She worked at West Penn Hospital until she retired. She enjoyed her family, and friends and always loved doing things with them. She will be missed by her family: daughters Judith C. Dué (George,) Jamie L. Sherow (John,) grandchildren Thomas J. Dué (Laura Wyatt,) Nathan J, Dué (Jennifer,) James D. Sherow (Kristi,) Andrew C. Sherow his friend Katie A. Smith, and Jean’s seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim and her sister Ruth. The family invites friends to a Memorial service on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont PA 15139 Donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, Activities Fund at LGAR, or your favorite charity.
