Age 85, a lifelong resident of Pittsburgh, quietly passed away, on the morning of Wednesday, February 10, 2016. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Elizabeth "Liz" (Charters) Alcorn; sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Shodie Alcorn, Charles and Jane Alcorn, Terence and Hope Alcorn; six grandchildren, Jason, Brandon, Katie, Dave, Becky and Mia; and one great-grandchild, Lucas; dear brother, James Alcorn; and nieces and nephews also survive. Dee was a member of East Liberty Presbyterian Church, North Hills Square Dance Club and was a Meals on Wheels volunteer. Friends and relatives are invited to a memorial visitation on Sunday, February 21, 2016, from 1-3 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to East Liberty Presbyterian Church, 116 S. Highland Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15206 to support the church's outreach and mission ministries.
