Rydeski, Thomas J.

Thomas J. Rydeski, 62 of Valencia passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Dear Son of Angela Rydeski and the late Julian A. Rydeski. Beloved Husband for 42 years of Roslyn (Bergamasco) Rydeski. Loving Father of Angela (Adam) Braun and Thomas (Cleo) Rydeski, II. Amazing grandfather to Noah, Lyla, Owen, Ava and Cora. Brother of Jerry (the late Connie) Rydeski, Phillip (Colleen) Rydeski, and the late Paul Rydeski. We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Tom during his time here, among them: ice cream can fix anything, P.T. Cruisers aren’t embarrassing, brownies are a breakfast food and family is everything. It’s hard to wrap our heads around saying goodbye to such a creative and compassionate man. It’s the end of a love story that started 45 years ago, when a stock boy fell in love with his supervisor, started a family and left behind a legacy of strength, determination and love. We love and miss you dear husband, dear father, dear poppy. Our lives will never be the same without you. Friends and relatives are invited to a memorial visitation on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, where a blessing service will be held at 2:15 p.m. during the visitation. Donations may be made in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project, 301 Grant Street, Suite 900, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
