Frederick J. “Fred” Bracco, 74 of Plum passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. Born on February 24, 1944, in Verona he was a son of the late James F. and Nellie (McHenry) Bracco. Beloved Husband for 52 years of Dolores (Weisenbach) Bracco. Dear Father of Michele McCracken of Oakmont and Christine (Robert) Colella of Plum. Grandfather of Kevin McCracken, Jacob, Matthew, and Laurel Colella. Brother of Bernie Bracco of Alabama, Donna (John) Mitchell of Nevada and the late LeRoy Bracco. Fred was a member of St. Irenaeus Catholic Church and a graduate of Verona High School class of 1963 where he was a part of the football team that won a championship. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and had 35 years of services with Verizon in communications. He proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Friends and relatives will be received on Monday, June 25, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont.
