Age 77, of Upper Burrell Twp., died suddenly at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, on October 25, 2018. He was born July 7, 1941 in Pittsburgh to the late Domenic and Mary Petrarca. Raymond was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Vietnam War, and retired from the former Edgewater Steel Corp., Oakmont. He loved to be active, and after his retirement he became involved in real estate, and enjoyed working on cars. He is survived by his brother, Anthony "Tony" and his wife, Charlotte Petrarca, of Verona; and his sister, Carol Forebeck and her husband, Frank, of Penn Run; Ray is survived by his nieces and nephews, Pam and Jim Maisel, Anthony Petrarca, Jr., Michelle and Randall Weston, Dianna and Steve Yeager, and Brian and Michelym Foreback; four great-nephews and five greatnieces survive; Raymond is survived by his special friend and companion, Patty. Friends and relatives will be received at BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont, on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 2-6 p.m. Services and entombment in Mt. Hope Cemetery private for the family.
