Lucy Clare Massaro, 86 of Plum (formerly of Penn Hills and Oakmont) passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018. Beloved Daughter of the late Paul and Clare (Stark) Berning. Former Wife of the late Eugene J. Massaro. Loving Mother of Nancy (Bill) Hammill, Jr., Michael (Tina) Massaro, Patty (John) Argentieri, Mary Jo Massaro, Jim (Beverly) Massaro, and Karen (Bob) Zavacky. Grandmother of 16 and Great-Grandmother of 17. She is also survived by her twin sister, Nancy Deters and was predeceased by her two sisters, Betty Lococo and Anne Derr. Lucy was crowned the homecoming queen while attending the University of Louisville. She was a volunteer at St. Margaret Hospital and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Friends and relatives will be received on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 3-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont.
